Long COVID, characterized by persistent symptoms following recovery from an acute COVID-19 infection, has baffled scientists, physicians, and holistic practitioners alike. It appears from recent research studies that the SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins may be the underlying cause.

What is Long COVID?

‘Long COVID’ is a term coined to describe the lingering symptoms experienced by some people after an initial SARS-CoV-2 infection. This condition doesn’t discriminate between severe or mild cases, as even asymptomatic patients can suffer from its effects. The symptoms can include fatigue, brain fog, chest pains, and reduced lung function, among others. Studies show that Long COVID can last for many months after the initial illness stage.

Navigating The Complexities of Long COVID

Recent data from the Household Pulse Survey revealed that 10 percent of adult Americans who had COVID now suffer from long-haul symptoms.  That’s about six million people! To assist patients suffering from the effects of this post-viral syndrome holistic practitioners need to understand what causes it and how to handle it.

The Role of Spike Proteins in Long COVID

As holistic healthcare practitioners, it’s crucial to understand the role that spike proteins play in Long COVID. Recent research suggests that spike proteins can remain circulating within the body for an extended period, following infection or vaccination. Studies reveal that when activated, the spike proteins stimulate immunity, which leads directly to systemic inflammation, often seen among Long COVID patients.

Nutrition Response Testing® and Post-Pandemic Factors

One of the major breakthroughs in Dr. Freddie Ulan’s development of Nutrition Response Testing is the discovery of the five main stressors that can prevent a body from healing. If these stressors are present, the body will not respond to interventions.

Recently, Dr. Ulan has received increasing requests for information about how to help patients with health issues and symptoms that are not responding as expected. This prompted him to embark on research and analysis on the post-pandemic health scenario.

After many months of research and testing, Dr. Ulan has released his findings. He has named the sixth stressor Post Pandemic Factors that can prevent a body from healing. Watch the webinar where Dr. Ulan explains his research and findings.
