I have been practicing Chiropractic for well over 50 years and have been fortunate enough to have been trained by the Founder of Nutrition Response Testing, Dr. Freddie Ulan. I have learned through the years of being a Nutrition Response Testing practitioner that we don’t handle a specific diagnosis. We follow the innate intelligence of the body and see where it leads.
A staff member of mine brought her 14-year-old daughter in to see me. Her daughter didn’t want to stop eating sugar, pizza, candy and cokes.
Just before coming to see me, the daughter’s mood altered for the worse. She was always angry. She told me, “My stomach hurts all the time.” Her mood was so bad that 2 things happened. First, she would get up in the middle of the night in a rage and go into her mother’s bedroom while she was sleeping. Second, she went to school and kicked one of her male classmates in the head, giving him a concussion.
I had a video that always played in my office called Pottenger’s Cats. Dr. Pottenger did a study on 900 cats over 10 years. He discovered that the cats with horrible diets couldn’t have babies. For this young lady, this is what turned the tide.
One day, she came into my office sobbing. I said, “What’s going on?” She replied, “I watched that video and if I keep eating the way I’m eating, I’m never going to have babies. I want to have babies!” That’s when she started paying attention to me and following the program I put her on. She took the supplements that the usual Nutrition Response Testing procedures discovered her body was lacking and started cleaning up her diet. Her stomach pain went away and the sudden onset of anger disappeared! She eventually became my receptionist when she turned 18!
Here at Ulan Nutritional Systems, Inc. we have test kits to address the underlying causes. These test kits can be used to help indicate the correct whole food supplements that will put the patient on the road to a happier and healthier life!
